Do you set cookies straight away?

What gets set if you click Accept?

• _clck — remembers your browser across visits, so Clarity can tell a returning visitor from a new one. Lasts about 1 year.
• _clsk — links the pages you view together into a single session, so we can see one visit's journey through the site rather than disconnected pageviews. Lasts about 1 day.

Microsoft Clarity may also set a small number of other first-party cookies needed to operate the service. We don't use any advertising cookies — Clarity is explicitly told not to share anything for ad purposes on this site.

What does Microsoft Clarity actually record?

• Mouse movements, taps, scrolling and page navigation — used to build heatmaps and session recordings
• Which pages you visit and roughly when
• General location (from your IP address, used briefly for that and not stored) and your device/browser type

It does not collect your name or email, and it automatically masks anything typed into form fields before it's ever stored.
